Argo
ON/OFF barriers
The ARGO system consist of an emitter and a reciver in different cases.
It generates a high number of beams, effecting a very detailed scanning in the examined zone.
The interruption of a beam changes the output state.
They are realised to detect object starting from 0,9 mm diameter.
Due to the principle of operation, is very effective the detection of flat sheet of small thickness of any kind of material.

Application examples
Part detection and ejection control
- Counting outgoing parts:
When the barrier is interrupted by a part exiting the system, it activates the output. By connecting the output to a counter, the total number of parts can be monitored. - Ejection control:
When it is necessary to ensure that a processed part has been correctly ejected, the Argo barrier can detect it and send a signal to the system — for example, at the output of a press.
People and object passage control
Detection of abandoned or thrown objects in airport gates:
The vertically installed barrier can detect objects as small as 25 mm thrown at speeds up to 200 km/h, while the horizontal installation enables the detection of abandoned items in the monitored area.
When combined with a horizontally mounted Polaris barrier, it is also possible to verify the correct direction of people movement.
